How do I get my diploma?

Awarded diplomas are printed and mailed 4-6 weeks after final grades post. You can verify your mailing address on your original graduation application in the myBYUI portal.

If your diploma is missing or damaged, you can order a new one. See Ordering a Duplicate Diploma

When will my official transcript show that I have graduated?

Your transcript should reflect that you have graduated within one week after the grades are posted for your final semester. To see when the grades will post, refer to Academic Deadlines and Schedule.

How do I order a BYU-Idaho transcript?

To order a transcript, visit BYU-Idaho Transcripts and select the button that says "Order Official Transcript".

How can I check the status of my BYU-I transcript that I ordered?

How do I get a diploma cover and a Commencement program?

Students who don't attend graduation events can request that we mail them up to one diploma cover and two commencement programs. You can submit a request by calling us at (208) 496-1411.

How do I get my certificate?

To apply for a certificate, see Applying for Diplomas and Certificates. If you have already applied, please allow 6-10 weeks from completion of the requirements for the original copy to arrive.
