Creating a Microsoft Office account for Alumni and Retirees

Access to a staff or student Microsoft Office account are lost once retiring or graduating from BYU-Idaho.

Retired BYU-Idaho employees and Student Alumni may create a new Microsoft Office account using their own personal email or an email that they create during the creation process. The steps and options for creating a new account are listed in the video below.

Current students and employees of BYU-Idaho can download and install Microsoft Office Professional Plus for free by following the instructions outlined in the article linked on the options: Choose between one copy of Office Professional Plus 2019 (or the latest version) or a subscription to Office 365, which can be installed on multiple personal devices. This version can be used with your BYU-Idaho official email.
