When is the soonest I can arrive at school before the semester starts?

You may enter the U.S. 30 days prior
to the start of school (see part 5 on page one of your I-20).
How can I pay the SEVIS I901 Fee?
- You can pay SEVIS I-901 online at www.fmjfee.com and pay the USD $350 fee for an F-1 visa or USD $220 fee for a J-1 visa at least 3 days prior your visa appointment or arriving at the U.S. border (Canadians).
Are sponsors required if I am an International Student? If so, who can become a sponsor?
What is the International Student Deposit?
- International students are required to make a $4,000 deposit before the form I-20 can be created. The deposit is refundable if you decide not to attend. You can find more information at Finances about the deposit policy.
