
What is the Cloud Printing Print Management Tool?
The Cloud Printing Print Management Tool allows Office Managers and Department Administrators to manage printing access for departmental cost centers. Using this tool, you can:
- Control who is authorized to print using your department’s cost center(s).
- Review printing activity and usage for users assigned to your department’s cost center(s).
- Monitor printing costs and history by billing period.
How do I Access the Tool?
- Open a web browser and navigate to: https://cloud-printing.byui.edu
- Sign in using your BYU-Idaho username and password (if prompted)
- After signing in, you will see the following menu options:
- Home: Returns you to the main landing page of the Cloud Printing Print Management Tool.
- Cost Centers: This menu provides two options (click to learn more about each):
- My Printing History: The My Printing History page displays your personal printing history.
Cost Center Printing Permissions
This page allows you to manage who can print using the department cost center(s) assigned to you.
Features include:
- View a list of users associated with your department’s cost center(s).
- Enable or disable printing access for individual users.
- Search and filter users to quickly locate specific individuals.
- Sort the list by any column.
Note: If you are not responsible for any departmental cost centers, the Cost Centers menu will not be displayed.
Student Employee Printing Access
By default, student employees are not authorized to print or make copies using a department cost center. If a student employee needs printing or copying access, you must enable their access through the Cost Center Printing Permissions page.
Cost Center Printing History
This page allows you to review printing activity for the departmental cost center(s) you manage.
Features include:
- View printing history by billing period.
- Search and filter records.
- Sort records by any column.
