Campus Tours 

How do I sign up for a BYU-Idaho-sponsored tour?

• Find information and schedule your tour on the 💻 Campus Tours website. In-person tours are available Monday-Friday. Tours are not offered on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays.

• There is no limit to how many people can attend a tour (even if it says otherwise on the booking system). 

• Parking: Visitors coming for tours can park in a "Visitor" designed stall or request a free visitor parking pass from 💻Parking Services. 

Prospective/Newly Admitted Student Tours (Admissions Office)

• Tours are available Monday-Friday from 9 am-3 pm, except on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. 

  • Offered year-round (including summer break, excluding weekends and holidays). 

• You will receive a confirmation email after scheduling an appointment.

• The Welcome Center on the 2nd Floor of the Manwaring Center is the starting point for all prospective/admitted student tours and high school visits.

  • The Welcome Center can provide high school students with absence excuse forms upon request when they come for a campus tour. 

• To switch from virtual tour to in-person tour contact the Welcome Center 208-496-1314.

• To reschedule or cancel an appointment for a campus tour, contact the Welcome Center at 208-496-1314.

Guest, VIP, and Public Tours (University Relations)

• Tours are available Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm.  

• Meeting location is determined by University Relations during the scheduling process. 

• Scheduled in advance through University Relations at (208) 496-3125 or campustours@byui.edu.  

Self-Guided Tours (Admissions Office)

• Stop by the Admissions Office (KIM120) to receive a map of the campus for a self-guided tour or contact Admissions at (208) 496-1300 for information on where to find maps on the website, etc. No need to book in advance.

Virtual Tours / LIve Virtual Tours

• For a virtual tour, go to 💻Campus Tours and click the "Schedule Now" button under Virtual Tour. The tour starts with the "BYU-Idaho Center" information. Click on any building below the "Continue Your Virtual Tour" on the left column to continue the tour. 

• For a live virtual tour (with a current student to answer questions), register at 💻Campus Tours, you will receive an email from Admissions with a Zoom link and instructions.

Department Tours 

• Some Departments give tours, contact the department directly for more information and to schedule.
