Unofficial Transcript
An unofficial transcript shows your academic history but does not include degree information. It is useful for personal reference or applications where a degree is not required.
To view and print your unofficial transcript:
- Log in to your MyBYUI account.
- Select the Resources tab.
- On the left, click "Show More," then select "Unofficial Transcript."
- Use the PDF option at the very bottom to download and print.
Degree information will not appear on unofficial transcripts.
Official Transcript
An official transcript is a complete record of your academic history, including degree information. It is typically required for transfers, job applications, and other official purposes.
To request an official transcript:
- Log in to your MyBYUI account.
- Go to the Academic tab.
- Click "Show More" until you find the Transcript Request tab.
- If additional documents are needed, select "Choose File" to upload them.
- Some forms may require a signature from Student Records & Registration, which can be emailed to transcripts@byui.edu.
For third-party requests (such as military or government agencies):
