Overrides

**For campus students, you should be able to register for campus courses on your flex semester without the need to request an override. Register as normal on your registration date as shown at Registration Dates & Deadlines

What is an override?

  • An override allows a student to attend on-campus classes during a flex semester (a semester not a part of your assigned track).
  • It does not change a student’s track; the student will still be expected to attend their on-track semesters.
  • Override is not needed for Online Students. They are allowed to take classes every semester.

What if I have an override but can't come to that semester?

  • If you have an override but can not attend the semester you must make sure that you are not enrolled in any classes. If you are not enrolled then you simply do not have to come. This will NOT affect your student status and you may take the semester off.
