How do I declare my degree?
- You will declare you degree when you get your acceptance letter from BYU-Idaho.
What is Degree Audit?
- The degree audit is a tool that shows all requirements of a degree including credits, GPA, residency hours, religion, general education , majors, and any other additional component a student may have declared such as minors, clusters, emphasis, concentrations, or certificates. It is a great way to help students keep track of their progress toward completing their degrees.

What is a Catalog Year and how do I choose mine?
- Catalog Year refers to a student's first year of study at an institution. Degree requirements are organized around one's catalog year as program requirements may change through the years.

Can I get a second bachelor's degree on campus?
- Second degrees cannot be earned on campus. A second degree may be earned through BYU-Pathway Online programs. The student will have to pick from the degrees they offer: Degree List.
Can I double minor at BYU-Idaho?
- Currently, BYU-I may offer double minors by exception if: 1) it fits within the student's credit limit, 2) the minors are not too closely related to each other OR their Major.
Can I earn credits at another university while studying at BYUI?
- Yes, you are allowed to earn credits at another university while attending BYU-I if you wish to do so. If you would like to receive financial aid for both universities, you will need to contact the financial aid office for assistance.
Can I get an Associate's degree while working on a bachelor's degree as a campus student?
- Yes. If you are seeking an associate degree and will be continuing with your bachelor's degree through BYU-I, you should change your major to the bachelor's degree prior to applying for graduation for the associate degree.
- Declaring your bachelor's degree before applying for graduation for an associate degree makes it so you don't have to reapply to the university.
How do I improve my Degree Progress?
- To improve your Degree Progress, you must take more required classes for graduation. A 100% progress rate for a semester means that all of the classes you are taking are required. Over time, this will help raise your cumulative Degree Progress rate.
