My computer is brand new and hasn’t been letting me on I-learn, thus making it difficult for me to get assignments done. What would you recommend for me?

Hey Dallin, thanks for your question! There are a few things that may be preventing you from accessing I-Learn. They are listed below along with things you can try in order to fix the issue.

  1. If you are connected to the BYUI Visitor Wifi, you will not be able to access I-Learn. You can connect to the BYUI wifi (steps for connecting can be found here), to a personal hotspot, or to your home/apartment wifi. Any of these should allow you to access I-Learn.
  2. The issue could also be with your web browser. Some things you could try are attempting to access I-Learn through a different browser (ex. Chrome instead of Edge) or clearing the cache and cookies on your browser (steps can be found here).
  3. Ensure you are using the correct login. If you are a BYUI on campus student, you'll use the BYUI login, while if you are online you'll use the Pathway login.

These are some of the most common issues that prevent people from accessing I-learn. If you try these steps and are still experiencing issues, please reply to this post and let me know what specifically is preventing you from accessing I-Learn (ex. what error you are receiving) and I would be happy to assist you further.
