What Is an IT Portfolio Manager?
An IT Portfolio Manager is your designated point of contact in IT for technology requests — things like new software, IT projects, or AI tools. Each area of the university is assigned a specific Portfolio Manager who understands that area's needs and priorities. When you submit a request through the IT Help Center, your Portfolio Manager is the person who receives it, evaluates it, and works with you on next steps.
