Office 365 "No Longer Active"

Sometimes "No Longer Active" errors will appear when a student tries to sign in to Office 365 Applications. 


Sign Out and Sign In

  • Ensure that you are not signed into two accounts. If you are signed into two accounts, sign out of the one that is not the BYU-Idaho account.
  • Your name should appear top right corner. Click your name then you can see what accounts are signed into. Click the three dots to sign out of one of the accounts. 

  • Sign in using your school account if not logged in with the school account already.

If the Issue Persists

  • Sign in to your Office account online (https://www.office.com/?auth=2) to ensure you still have access to your Office 365 account. 
    • If you have access, uninstall Office and reinstall it.
