Connecting to Wi-Fi on MacOS

Having access to Wi-Fi is important to your success as a BYU-Idaho student, so don’t go without it on campus. Since the process of connecting to the BYU-Idaho Wi-Fi will vary depending on your computer’s operating system, find your device below for tailored instructions on connecting to the Wi-Fi. Check out our tips at the bottom of this article if you are having problems with your Wi-Fi connection.

NOTE: Old BYUI students/employees who had to link their BYUI and church accounts will use their BYUI credentials to log into campus wifi. New students/employees (accepted their track assignment or started working after February 12) did not create BYUI credentials, and so they will use their church credentials to log into campus wifi.
In order to access Canvas and other important resources, make sure that you are connected to the BYUI network, not the BYUI_Visitor network. For network security, the BYUI_Visitor network restricts access to some sites.
