Parking Information

Spring Semester 2024

As you make plans for the upcoming Spring  2024 Semester, please make sure you have secured an overnight parking permit before considering bringing a vehicle to BYU-Idaho. You must work directly with your housing complex to secure a parking permit. Keep in mind that permits are limited. Most housing complexes issue parking permits separate from housing contracts and sell on a first-come-first-served basis. If you are unable to secure an overnight parking permit before the semester begins, you may not have anywhere to legally park your vehicle.

If you choose not to bring a vehicle or are unable to secure overnight parking, there are some viable options available to you for transportation.

  • Some complexes have their own shuttle service that will take you to campus and back to your apartment. Ask your manager about this option.
  • Walmart provides a shuttle service that makes several stops around campus and will ultimately take you to and from its Supercenter.
  • Salt Lake Express provides shuttle services to locations outside the Rexburg area.
  • Many grocery stores and restaurants have some type of delivery service.
  • Roommates, friends, and/or family are great resources and, through some coordination, can assist you with your transportation needs.

Again, parking is limited at most apartment complexes so please make sure you have formally secured overnight parking before bringing a car to campus. To request and see available on-campus parking permits see, Parking Services
