Bachelor Degree Categories
Standard Degree
- 40-55 major credits, 40 Foundations credits, and up to 40 elective credits for a total of 120 credit hours.
Integrated Standard Degree
- 67 major credits (see below options), 40 Foundations credits, and at least 13 elective credits for a total of 120 credit hours.
- Option 1: Major credits and 1 cluster.
- Option 2: Major credits and 1 Minor or 2 Clusters.
Specialized Degree
- Max of 80 major credits, 40 Foundations credits, and a few elective credits for a total of 120 credit hours.
- Education Majors:
- Education Specialized Major: 80 hours. No minors allowed.
- Education Composite Major: 55 hours plus education core. No minors allowed.
- Education Major: 30 hours plus education core. Requires an Education minor.
- Endorsement: 6-20 hours, defined and granted by the State of Idaho.

Program Applicability
What is Program Applicability (PA)?
- To qualify for federal financial aid, your courses must be required/count towards your degree.
- Applies to both online and campus students.

- Used to verify that registered courses are program applicable (PA).
- ⚠️Not a guarantee of payment. Final disbursement of federal aid is based on several factors.
- For issues, set up an academic advising appointment.
- Students should check before the Financial Aid Determination Date
- Student wondering if financial aid will update and be disbursed, contact the Financial Aid office.
PA Errors
⚠️PA overrides CANNOT be processed without authorization from an Advisor.

Institute Courses and Credits
- Institute Transfer Credits:
- Do not count as PA.
- Counts for degree but not for Federal Aid.
