What is a Catalog Year?
Your first year of study at an institution.
Sets your degree requirements, since the program may change with time.
How long do they last?
Expires every seven years.
If you are taking longer than normal to complete your degree or you are returning to BYU-Idaho after a while, you may need to change the catalog year of your major to a more recent year.
CANNOT be changed to a year previous to the first semester that you began classes. ββββ
