FAQ

  • Why was I added to this course?
    • All first-semester campus students (including those with transfer credits) are automatically enrolled in the BYUI 101 online course. This required course will set you up for success while connecting you with other students and great student mentors. πŸ€—
  • Why am I assigned to take this class when I am not a new student?
    • If you are assigned to take this class and it is not your first semester at BYUI, it should be removed from your schedule by the first day of classes (including Fall 2024)
  • I am a campus student taking all online classes for my first semester, am I still required to take the course?
    • If you are living in Rexburg for the semester, you will need to take it and can come to campus for the campus portion of the course.
    • If you are NOT living in Rexburg for the semester, please contact BYU-Idaho to have the course removed. (You will still need to take an alternate course in a future semester to meet the requirement to graduate.)

    • This hold only prevents you from dropping the course. It does not prevent you from registering for other classes!
      • If the class has been removed, you will still have the hold. This is not an issue (as it does not prevent anything) and will eventually be taken off later in the semester.
