For an Alumnus to Have a Username/Password

You may access "reset password" or "reset username" here
- You must have an account in the Student Database, and your transcript must be added to the Student Database before you can create a username.
- Your data (SSN, DOB, gender) must be correct in the Student Database for you to reset a password or create a username. This is because a correct SSN, DOB and surname must be entered in order for the BYUI website to locate the correct account. When you attempt to enter a SSN , DOB or surname that is not exactly consistent with what SRR has on file for you, the system will say "invalid credentials." To fix this, you must manually update your information and then retry the password/username reset option.
- To update SSN's manually, you can either send a picture of their Social Security Card to Catrina Wylie at wyliec@byui.edu or you can provide your Social Security Card physically at SRR (KIM190) to be scanned into the imaging system. Please provide your I-number if emailing with a brief description of your request. ("Please update my SSN in your system")
- To update names or DOB, you may email pictures of either a valid driver's license, a state ID or a passport to wyliec@byui.edu or provide one of those documents physically to SRR (KIM190) to be scanned into the imaging system. If emailing, please provide your I-number and a brief description of your issue. ("Please update my DOB/Surname in your system.")
- For all other login issues not related to SSN, DOB, or last name- troubleshoot and/or go to IT.
