Concurrent Enrollment

General Information

Concurrent Enrollment allows high school students the opportunity to take college-level courses. The student must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be in Junior or Senior year of high school.
  • Be 16 prior to or during the first semester of attendance.

What is the difference between Concurrent Enrollment and Dual Enrollment?

  • Concurrent Enrollment allows high school students who are at least 16 years old AND a Junior in high school, the opportunity to take college-level courses. 
  • Dual Enrollment's only difference from Concurrent Enrollment is the student will be able to count their college classes towards their high school graduation requirements and towards college credits.
