Why authorize Pharos Cloud with Office 365 document storage?
To be able to scan a document from one of the multifunction printers on campus, you will need to authorize Pharos Cloud with Office 365 document storage. This enables Pharos Cloud to securely interact with your email to send scans through your email account, or to securely send scans to your OneDrive folders.
Follow the steps below to authorize Pharos Cloud with Office 365 document storage.
How to Authorize Pharos Cloud with Office 365
1. At one of the multifunction printers where Secure Print is installed, touch Scan Document, and then touch either Email, OneDrive, or SharePoint.

2. You will see a message that says Authorization Required. Once you see this message, you will get an email from Pharos Cloud to your BYU-Idaho email.

3. Open the email and select Authorize (as shown below). That should open another page that says “Pharos Cloud must be authorized with Office 365 to allow documents to be stored.” When you see this page, click Authorize.

4. Sign in with your Church account. If you are asked "Do you trust byui.edu?", click Continue.
5. When you see the Permissions requested page, click Accept.

6. You will then see the message "Pharos Cloud has been authorized with your preferred storage provider."

7. Return to the printer; you will now be able to send scans from your email, or send to your BYU-Idaho OneDrive, or to SharePoint.
