
Starting September 21, 2026, transcripts can be ordered directly from BYUI's third party transcript service provider, Parchment. From Parchment's site, they can be sent to your prospective employer or university. They are sent Following are the steps to request your transcripts.
Requesting Official Transcripts Through Parchment
To begin, go to https://www.byui.edu/transcripts/ and click "Order Official Transcripts"

You will be asked whether you attended BYU-Idaho (or Ricks College) after 1983. Most often, the answer is "Yes".
You should be brought to this page:

| If you have already created a Parchment account, you will be redirected to sign in with your previously created credentials. If you've forgotten your password, you can use the forgot password button. |
1. Enter a personal email address, and press "Continue"
2. Enter in all the required information marked by a red asterisks
| Your password must include 10 characters, contain an upper and lower case letter, a number, and special character |

3. Click "Create Account & Continue"
4. If you get an address verification popup, resolve the issue and select the continue button

5. You will be redirected to log in with your newly created account

You will need to verify your email address before Parchment will allow you to log in.

6. Once you have verified your email address and logged in, fill out the requested enrollment information

7. Click "Order" next to transcripts

8. Fill out where you need to send your transcripts
Your transcripts will be sent to your selected location, and you should get an email verification.
Requesting Unofficial Transcripts
1. Go to www.byui.edu/transcripts and at the top of the page, click "Transcripts - Official or Unofficial"

2. Under "Unofficial", click "Current Student Access"

3. If you are redirected to a page that says, "You do not have the necessary permissions to view this page. This page may require you to be logged in." click "Login" in the upper right corner

From here, you can select to view your unofficial transcript as either a PDF, or on the webpage.
