  • Self-Help: See the ⚙️technology guides for walkthroughs and tutorials on the most common tech issues including Canvas/I-Learn, downloading Microsoft Office, Wireless Printing, Zoom Issues and more!
  • IT Chat: Chat with our IT chatbot for basic tech help with an option to chat with a technical agent from the IT Service Desk.
  • Submit a Request: make a request for tech help through the main IT Services Portal.


Proctorio Support

  • Downloading Proctorio: To download the Proctorio extension, see Proctorio FAQs.
  • Troubleshooting: Make sure you are using Google Chrome as your web browser. Here are steps to download Google Chrome.
  • Issues During a Test: Click on the shield icon on the top right corner of your browser. You can chat with Proctorio to receive help with your issue.

How can I access Adobe?

  • If required for class:

  1. Go to Adobe.
  2. Click on the "sign-in" option.
  3. Enter your BYUI student email.
  4. Click on the "Company or School Account" option.

  • If not required: You can purchase with a student discount from Adobe.
  • Adobe Technical Issues: Contact the IT Help Desk at (208)-496-9009

Can I still use Adobe Photoshop with my BYUI account for personal learning if I'm not enrolled in a class this semester?

  • Only students enrolled in specific courses have access to the BYU-Idaho Adobe Enterprise License.
  • Eligible students will receive an email notification at their BYU-I email address.
  • Access is available until the end of the semester.
  • For details on which courses have access and how to download Adobe apps, refer to 🅰️Adobe Access.
  • BYU-Pathway Online students should contact their instructor for help if logging in through the BYU-Pathway Worldwide portal.
  • For additional questions, contact the IT Help Desk after consulting with your instructor.

  • Duo 2-Factor is a two-factor authentication (2FA) service that provides an additional layer of security for BYU-Idaho login.

I'm experiencing issues with I-Plan, what do I do?

How can I sign up or log into Zoom with my BYUI account?

  •  Please follow the steps below to log into zoom with your BYUI account.
    • First download Zoom from here, and click sign in.
    • Below the options of email address and password, you will see an icon with a key that says SSO.
    • Click on that icon and then log in with your BYUI email and password.
    • Contact us or reach out to IT if you have any further questions.
