How to Download & Log Into Adobe Creative Cloud Applications

Full-Time Employees: First, please ensure you've already been approved or added to the BYU-Idaho Adobe Creative Cloud license. By default, all BYU-Idaho full-time employees are offered licenses, but are granted them by request. If you've requested it before, then you probably just need to login and download the Adobe Creative Cloud application which will allow you to update/download the most recent updated applications. The enterprise license you've received will allow you to download nearly all Adobe applications.

Student Employees: This guide only applies for employees and normal academic students (not students working for the University). If a student employee needs Adobe Creative Cloud on a student workstation, please call the IT Service Desk at (208) 496-9009.

Students: Only BYUI students taking select courses gain access to Adobe on their personal computers. Please see the reference table at the bottom of this page to gather information on which courses do have access. If you are taking a class that does give you access, follow the steps below. If you are not but still need to use Adobe, you can access it on a campus computer, as they all have Adobe installed for any students to use.

Log-in Steps

1. Go to https://creativecloud.adobe.com/.

2. Click "Sign In" in the top right. Then in the email address field, enter your BYU-I email address.

Adobe Sign in

3. After clicking continue, click "Company or School Account."

4. You will then be redirected to the church single-sign-on page (SSO). Enter your credentials and log in.

5. In the top right, click your profile picture, then "Install Creative Cloud Desktop."

6. After that, click "Save" to download the provided installer file. Follow the prompts on your screen to install the Creative Cloud Application onto your device.

7. After the download is complete, launch the application. It will then prompt you to sign in to the application. Remember to sign in the way described above, first with your email.

From here, you should be able to download any Adobe product that you require.

FAQs

Q: Can I pause my individual Adobe Cloud subscription?

A: No. There is no way to pause an individual Adobe subscription, but you can cancel your subscription without a cancellation fee. The University has an enterprise agreement (“ETLA”) with Adobe. Because of this benefit, individual Creative Cloud subscribers can terminate their contracts and not be charged the normal 50% fee.

Contact Adobe Support and be certain to inform the support agent that you are a student at BYU-Idaho, and you are provided Adobe Creative Cloud by the University. You may be asked to show the email informing you that you had been given access through the University.

Q: What if I'm on a waiting list?

A: Students on a waiting list will need to wait until they get enrolled to start the process of getting access. As soon as you are accepted into the class please reach out to your instructor and they will add you to a list that will be submitted for access.

Q: When do I receive access?

A: You will receive access to the Adobe programs the second day of the semester, or approximately 24 hours after you register for a qualifying course. Please see a list of qualifying courses above. You will NOT receive an email notifying you that you have been added to the system.
