When filling the Human Resource Coordinator Position, we are looking for someone who:

Primary Responsibilities
Student Job Board
-
Coordinate with each full-timer to create a Job Board Posting

Manage the job board
Schedule interviews
-
Review Applications and arrange interviews for those who meet requirements of the department

Use outlook to schedule interviews and ensure Training Project Manager and department specific Senior Leadership is invited
-
Conduct interviews, when delegated by the department, and ensure a supervisor (full timer, senior lead, team lead or project manager) from the department is present
Hiring
-
Schedule training times with the training team prior to notifying the applicant of their hiring
-
Ensure those hired can commit to the job
-
They can attend the needed shift
-
They will be here for at least two-semesters, or the requirement set by the specific department
3. Upon department recommendation, extend offer of employment
4. Create a New Employment form through TeamDynamix for each candidate who is hired or returning
- Include training times, needed training and exceptions
5. Hire each candidate through the Job Board for the positions requested by department
Onboarding

Hire employees 2-3 business days before the training starts to ensure they can get to the BYU-Idaho Human Resources department

Organize training times with the Training Project Manager to confirm training availability

Notify new employees of training time and HR requirements
-
Contact any new employees that do not attend first day of training to confirm employment and reschedule training
Department Specific Requirements
Contacts (Phones, Digital Communication, and Lost & Found)
- You will be highly involved in the hiring of new contact team agents

Ensure that excel sheets are frequently updated and prepped for future semesters and employees commit to stay or leave

Post position, conduct interviews and hire employees in the same process as mentioned above

Send rejection emails to those who are not offered positions
2. Senior Leads and Team Lead interview involvement will depend on team preferences. Department Full-Timers will communicate involvement desires as supervisors are needed.
QA and Training Team
- The Human Resources Coordinator will be involved greatly with the internal hiring of new trainer positions

Post an announcement about position opening as directed by Project Manager

Schedule interviews

Help conduct interviews as directed

Offer positions with a Training supervisor

Notify those who were not selected for the position with a Training Team Supervisor and give reasonable feedback
2. Training team leads and project managers will typically be selected by the project manager without interviews. If interviews are conducted, the training project manager will communicate the needs of the Human Resources Coordinator
Business Solutions
- You will work with the Business Solutions Coordinator to help with hiring as needed
Customer Experience

CX currently completes hiring on their own. They will communicate any involvement or need from the Human Resources Coordinator
Retention and Employee Satisfaction
- Gather both positive and constructive feedback from current and new employees
- Review this feedback with the appropriate supervisor of the department that was surveyed
- Implement feedback that would improve employee satisfaction

- Work with department Full-Timers each semester to plan out raffle rewards for their department
4. Research new ways to improve retention and employee satisfaction
