Job Summary:
The Knowledge Specialist maintains the Support Center Knowledge Base to ensure an effective database exists for the use of Support Center communications. Doing so ensures the Support Center team can provide current and accurate information to the BYU-Idaho community. The Knowledge Specialist communicates regularly with a group of assigned BYU-Idaho departments to coordinate information, provide solutions, and offer feedback. The specialist utilizes these interactions to update, improve, and maintain the Support Center Knowledge Base.
Specific Duties:
- Review, improves, and updates the Knowledge Base in a timely manner by utilizing key search words, formatting articles for easy reading, and addressing feedback from other departments and Support Center employees
- Leads meetings between the Support Center and other BYU-Idaho departments, taking thorough notes and following up on action items through phone/email
- Keeps accurate records of projects and interactions
- Provide tours of the Support Center to partner representatives
Applicant Requirements:
- A self-driven, detail-oriented, and organized personality
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Available to work 15-20 hours per week M-F with a daily shift of at least two-hour duration
- Available to work Spring & Fall 2022 semesters (optional Summer 2022)
Wage: $10.77 per hour
