Starting the Winter 2024 semester students who are returning from a mission and enrolling in their first semester at BYUI will be eligible for a one-time $500 BYU-Idaho Returned Missionary Scholarship. All returned missionaries are eligible no matter the amount of time served. Must be used within one year of returning home from their mission.
Students only need to be enrolled in one credit to be eligible for the scholarship.
No application is necessary. If a student should be eligible and does not receive the award once registered, they can reach out to scholarships@byui.edu
The award can be combined with the BYUI Scholarship need based portion and be awarded over full tuition.
Aid disburses the first week of the semester.
