Inaccurate Names Reflected

Question: The name in my BYUI account is reflected inaccurately. My name should be (First, Middle & Last) Shi Ling Regene Chen. Currently, it is reflected as Shi Ling Regene Chen Chen.

  1. Click on your name on the top right corner of the page, and got to the Personal Information option.

  2. On the first option, under “Preferred Name” write the name you want to be displayed.

Please try following these steps and check after 24-48h if it worked. If this doesn't work, contact our Students Records and Registration Office (208) 496-1411, chat or email so they can change it for you.
