Track Assignments
One of three track assignments is given to campus students when they Accepting Their Offer to BYU-Idaho. You can find more info on the Three Track System site.
Campus students can find their assigned track by logging in at my.byui.edu and selecting the Add/Drop Courses option under Registration Links. This will bring them to the registration page; they should click the student tab on the left side of the screen. The track assignment will show on the right under the "Academic Summary" section.
(NOTE: Online students do not have an assigned track and can take courses during all semesters.)
Managing Your Enrollment
Occasionally, you may need to take a semester off or you might prefer to attend on a flex-semester in addition to or instead of your on-track semester.
- Campus Students: Most campus students easily manage their assigned track using deferments, overrides, and online study. For more info, see Year-Round Enrollment Options. For information on changing Track Assignments contact the Admissions Office at (208) 496-1300.
- Online students: Online students do not have a track assignment. They can miss up to two semesters in a row without needing to reapply. To skip more than two semesters and avoid having to reapply, they would need to defer their enrollment. For more info, see Deferment Options.
- For additional questions, please contact the Admissions Office at (208) 496-1300.
