Using Printers on Campus

When using the BYU-Idaho Interactive Map to find printers, select the desired printer type (B&W, Color, or Copy, Scan, Email) from the options at the top left of the screen. You can also switch between floors of the buildings.

Accessing Printers:

  • Students and employees can visit Pharos Print Center website and print using their I-Card. Employees can choose between personal and office accounts after swiping their card. Ecclesiastical campus users will receive new copy cards.
  • For off-computer printing, visit BYU-Idaho Web Print. Sign in with your BYU-Idaho username and password, then upload your document (compatible file types include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, images, and text files; max size: 52 MB).

Print Release Process:

  1. Go to a Print Release Station on campus.
  2. Sign in using your BYU-Idaho credentials and swipe your I-Card.
  3. Select the print job you want from the list, and check your available funds against the job's cost.
  4. Click Print or Delete as needed. Log off when finished.

Payment for Printing: Only BYU-Idaho I-Cards are accepted for printing. Funds can be added via instructions on the IT help guide.

Cost of Printing:

  • Black & White: $0.05 per page
  • Color: $0.25 per page
  • Double-sided pages are charged double the single-sided rate.

Technical Issues: For printing problems, contact IT at (208) 496-1411. For refunds or further assistance, escalate to IT at ext. 9009.

Additional Printing Services: For larger print jobs or services beyond self-serve printing, visit Print and Copy Services in MC 174, which offers options for class packets, flyers, posters, and more.
