Who Can Request a SharePoint site?
Faculty/Employee
Faculty/Employee's may request a SharePoint site by calling the BYU-I Support Desk at (208) 496-1411 or filling out the Microsoft 365 ticket.
Student Employee
Student employees may request a SharePoint site, however, the Power User must be a faculty member or employee. This is required to make sure that sites will continue to be managed and maintained after the student employee leaves, keeping our environment up to date and tidy.
Student
Students may not request a standalone SharePoint site. For situations like class group projects, a Microsoft Team is highly recommended and can be self-created from within Microsoft Teams.
