Uploading Documents for Printing

1.  Go to the Pharos Print Center at print.byui.edu on your device. (You can bookmark the page for future reference.) 

2. Log in using your BYU-Idaho email. Sign in with your Church account when prompted.

3. Click the Upload button.

4. Select your document.

5. You will then get this popup window. To adjust the color, number of copies, etc, click Finishing Options. When done with Finishing Options, click OK and then Submit.

6. When the document is uploaded, you will be able to see the amount of "points" that will be used for the print job. You can also see how many points you have available, highlighted in green at the top of the page.

NOTE: 1 point = 1¢. For example, if you have 120 points, you have $1.20 in available printing funds. You will not be able to print if you do not have funds in your account. For instructions on adding funds to your account, click here.

7. Log into one of the public printers on campus to print your document. See below for instructions on how to use campus printers. 

How to Use Print Release Stations (Printers)

NOTE: You will not be able to print if you do not have funds available in your account. To upload funds, follow the steps in this help guide

1. To log in at on-campus printers, you will need a 6-digit PIN. To generate this PIN, click the three lines in the upper right corner and click Passcode. When you see the below screen, click Generate. Write down the code that is generated, as this will be the code you will use each time you print.

2. The printer will have screen that looks like this. You can either scan your I-Card at the printer or use your 6-digit login PIN by selecting Keyboard Sign In

3. Here you will be able to:

  • Select Print All if you want to print all the documents you have uploaded to the cloud
  • Select Review Documents if you want to choose specific files to print
  • See the cost of your print job
  • See your available balance on your I-Card. If you need help uploading funds, click here for instructions

4.  If you click Review Documents to select specific files, you will be taken to the page shown below. Select your desired documents with the checkboxes to the left, and then select Print.

5. After you click the Print button, your documents will be released and printed.
