Resolving Outlook .vbs Issue
If you are receiving an error on Outlook that looks like the one in this picture, follow the steps below:

- Download the .txt file attached to this article ("vbsregfix.reg.txt")
- Rename the file and remove the ".txt" extension
- To rename a file on a Mac or PC, find the file in your downloads folder in the Finder or File Explorer
- Right-click on the file
- Select rename from the menu
- Edit the name and press Enter to save
- If you have trouble renaming the file on Windows, you may need to enable that option. Refer to the guide below
- Once renamed, double-click the file to run it. If your computer asks if the file is okay to run, select Yes or Allow, as the case may be
- After running the file, restart your computer to ensure changes are saved
By default, Windows 11 hides the file extension on files with known file types. If you are having trouble seeing the extension to remove it on Windows file explorer, you can follow this process:
- Press + R and type "control folders"

- Open the "View" tab and unselect "Hide extensions for known file types"

- Return to the downloaded file and right-click
- Select Rename and delete ".txt" from the end of the file
