If you receive an "Okta 400 Bad Request" error message when attempting to log in, this typically means your Duo Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) hasn't been properly linked to your Church Account. This is a critical step in the account linking process that must be completed.

  1. Contact the BYU-Idaho IT Service Desk for assistance
  2. A support analyst will help you access our account linking tool
  3. Follow the guided process to properly connect your Duo 2FA with your Church Account

Preventing This Issue

  • Complete all steps of the account linking process, including the Duo 2FA setup
  • Don't skip any steps during the account linking process
  • Complete the process well before the February 2025 deadline to avoid login issues
